You may not think it, but having the right kitchen bin makes a huge difference to the day to day use of your kitchen. Consider your household size

If you have a larger household, you’ll probably need a larger size bin. Because there is nothing more frustrating than needing to change you bin multiple times in a day when you have a busy family home. On the other hand if you live by yourself or have a smaller family you may not want a larger bin that leaves rubbish lingering in your kitchen for too long, opting for a smaller bin may be the better choice for you.

Generally speaking, a small household of one or two people will only need a bin of 35 litres. An average household of two to four people should be between 35 and 100 litres, while a large household of more than four people may need an excess of a 100 litre bin.

Available Space

While you may like the thought of having a larger size bin, you need to consider your available space. If you’re planning a kitchen renovation, make sure to include this in your plans.
